More world-class talent joins Formation Games!
We are delighted to announce that Adam Sullivan has joined the team as Lead UI/UX Designer. Adam has a wealth of experience in mobile games and was one of the founding members at Space Ape Games, the studio behind the award-winning game, Beatstar. He also worked at world renowned Playfish and Sony PlayStation.
We’re also very proud to welcome Claire Charalambos as Head of Finance. Claire spent over a decade at the FA alongside our Chairman, Alex where they oversaw the build of Wembley Stadium & St. George’s Park. A big welcome to both Claire & Adam!
Game development
With Adam on board, much of our focus this month has been on the game’s UI/UX. We have been — and continue to be — relentless on creating a game that is distinctive, both visually and in terms of the player experience. Watch this space! Momentum is building and we’re very excited to bring you, our community along the journey with us.
The Formation Games Forest
We believe in making our studio sustainable and minimising our impact on the planet.
Back in February, we asked for your help in deciding which sustainability project to support. The votes have all been counted and we are happy to announce that our forestry project will be…
…the Desa’a Forest in Ethiopia!
This is an ambitious, award-winning project that aims to restore and protect one of the oldest remaining dry Afromontane forests in Ethiopia. The project will help to support the 26,000 people who live below the poverty line, relying on the forest for water, energy and to feed their cattle.

What’s it really like being a football club owner?
CLUB will allow fans to step into the shoes of a Football Club Owner, and to make sure we get it right, we’re meeting some of the UK’s most interesting clubs, including their Owners.
Last weekend we took CLUB Presenter Mitch Tucker down to Plough Lane to spend the day with AFC Wimbledon. Whilst there, we spoke to some of the fans, members of The Dons Trust and to Ivor Heller, one of the original Co-Founders. They may have had a tough season, but they managed to secure their league status with a couple of games to go and the fans were in good voice, regardless of the result.

We’ve started shipping prizes to our competition winners this year.
If you’re one of our elite Shot or Not winners get ready to receive our exclusive Shot or Not Champion’s ‘trophy’, with a tongue in cheek joke inside! Our monthly Discord quiz winners will also be receiving one of our new CLUB scarves. These are fresh off the production line and for the eagle-eyed COs, you may have spotted Mitch modelling one above. We’re excited for you to get your hands on them. Finally, a huge congrats to one of our COs, Mr Birds who won the Her Game Too sweatshirt last month.
