Playtesting heats up
We’ve started opening up access to the game for playtesting to some of our most diehard Founding COs. 🤫
Around 60 of you attended our Community Summits where our CEO Jonty Barnes, and our Creative Director, John Collins, gave the lowdown on the game’s evolution. It was great to hear your live feedback and enthusiasm.
Our first wave of playtesters are battling it out in head-to-head leagues and already there has been tons of friendly trash talk and creative strategies discussed as our COs try to find an edge over their opposition.
Below are a couple of highlights from our early testers:
‘It was great to see the changes and improvements from Season Zero.’
‘Good to hear real-life aspects will be integral to the game as I feel this is important.’
‘Mini leagues are a cool idea, which will be exciting to see in action with social interaction and quick turnover.’
‘This is shaping up to be a serious competitor to FPL and with where it’s heading, I can’t see how this couldn’t work.’
If you haven’t had the chance to test the game yet, keep a close eye on your inbox as we’ll soon be widening out access to all Founding COs in our biggest test yet. Give us your honest takes, we can’t wait!
Welcome Alex!
Our latest team arrival is Alex Leo, who joins us as Lead UI/UX Designer. Alex has over 15 years’ of experience including leadership roles for Gameloft and Ubisoft where he brought design expertise to multiple projects globally, at various production stages and on a wide range of art styles and gameplay genres.
Alex is based in Paris and is a basketball fan first but has fond memories of following Arsenal during the ‘French Connection’ era of Arsène Wenger. Please give him a warm welcome! 🙌

Christmas means a packed football schedule!
Discord is the best place to be for live football watch-alongs during the festive period and as it’s nearly the end of the year it’s also almost time for our bumper end-of-year Discord quiz. So put Saturday 30th December in your diary for that and test your football smarts. 👍
And with Christmas just around the corner, this will be our last update for this year but rest assured, 2024 is going to be BIG.
